Shawnee Cancer Center Renovation
For nearly 30 years, the SSM Health St. Anthony Cancer Center in Shawnee has cared for patients across our region. During that time, cancer patient volume has grown by nearly 27%, while cancer rates in our service area continue to exceed the state average. To meet this growing need, we are embarking on a transformative renovation of our Cancer Center that will modernize treatment spaces, expand infusion capacity by 43%, improve patient flow, and enhance the experience for patients and families.
This project is about more than a building. It is about providing hope, dignity, and healing to those who need it most. It is about ensuring that our neighbors can receive life-saving treatment close to home, surrounded by the people who support them.
